Eckhart Tolle about being ourself.
This is not easy. Because we’ve grown with experiences and masks for years, trying to be
someone else, pleasing our parents, our friends, the society around us.
And then, we discover that we’re unhappy. And we start to feel bad… to feel sick, and our body begins to feel sick too and so on.
And we search everywhere, we go to doctors, we start eating gluten-free, we start to do sport, we start to do things in order to feel better. Sometimes it works for a while, but then we’re falling down again.
Eckhart Tolle says that we need to learn how let go thoughts, and try to be present. Only in that moment, when we’re not thinking how sad and miserable we are, we are connecting with our true self.
The more we can do it, the more we’ll get better. And Tolle in his books explains how it is to feel always in the present moment and in peace. This is one of his best seller book:
